@PhantasmKiss I know, it's really annoying. I've just turned neighbourhood stories off completely and that's stopped it. Not ideal, but I'm a bit of a control freak anyway!
So this was bugging me too since I play alot of households. To fix, go to mange households then click the two arrows at the top right. Then uncheck the have babies picture and you should be good 👍
I forgot to add that even if you only have neighborhood stories enabled on the Unplayed households unless you enable the stories on the played households and uncheck have babies it for some reason will still happen. I unchecked everything since my families started moving houses which was also really dumb.
