Try going to your Documents - Electronic Arts -sims 4 folder and move your “ options” or “ options.ini” file to your desktop. Start the game and a file “options” file will be generated. Go to the game options and enable mods and enable script mods. You will also need to alter any other settings that you previously made in Game Options as it is a new file. Exit the game. Then reload your game, and see if the enable mods tick remains.
