PLEASE HELP! Sims 4 game stuck in build mode in the middle of my building

My sims 4 game is stuck in build mode, I can't click anything I can just hear the background music still playing. I don't want to force quit the game because I have been working on a building for a few hours, if I force quit my building won't be there. Someone please help my game is still running.

    @gothboy_23 Hey!  Are you still running your game?  If you're on PC, try opening the cheat console (shift+ctrl+C) and type in quit and hit enter.  You should get a menu prompt so you can save your game.  Otherwise, I'm not sure how to save a stuck game.
