Gameplay Mods: Selected Known Issues

KEY: LE = last exception (REMINDER: Not all mods/creator are covered on the official forums.)

Mods and the Pack Selection System: Especially for injector mods, if you use mods and you change packs with the new checklist system, restart Sims 4 after pack selection changes before playing, even if not prompted to. If you use Lot 51 Core Library, it will make sure you do this.

  • Simulated Endings – not compatible with Life and Death
  • Education Overhaul, Freelance Chef, and International Relations Career - announced as requiring Lot 51 Core Library but not listed on mod pages yet
• Arnie – CheatsMaster – breaks many other mods that have pie menus

• ChippedSim – Paws & Claws – some icons missing in pet characteristics
• Deaderpool – MC Command Center 
  • set "Enforce Family" to “true” in the Marriage module settings to avoid family-tree lockup from Sims with multiple relationships to each other.
  • if you own Royalty & Legacy, using MCCC “Start Pregnancy” will create a Secret Child

  • Festive Milestones – known issue: “Traveling on Love Day with this mod installed may cause an exception. I do not know why this exception occurs, but it does not cause any damage to your save/play session and can be ignored until fixed.” 
  • Show Sim Info – known issue: show family menu option does not open
  • No Discovery Quests – blocks Rewards Event from starting

  • cooking mods that previously didn't need you to have all recipes now DO need you to have them all
  • Air Fryer – “optional” files are not optional
  • Hot Chocolate Maker – “optional” files are not optional
  • Candle Making – .ts4script file must be deleted
  • Nectar Maker – .ts4script file must be deleted
  • Tropical Drink Dispenser – “optional” files are not optional
• KiaraSims – careers – some (in testing, not all) break the Sim Picker with the Royalty EP; Lot 51 Core Library announced as needed but not yet listed on mod pages
• LoryNa – Expanded Pregnancy Interactions – Too much/broken particular CC types (parenting skill/children's books, toys, bassinets/change tables) freezes game when opening NooBoo shop
• Lot51 – PlumbBros – in CAS, “boots” category hidden

• MAL22 – Grimborn Trait Genetics Fix – Grimborn birthmark not visible in CAS
• maplebell – Join a Country Club – delete the Mac folder
• MizoreYukii – Custom VFX Resource – not compatible with Enchanted by Nature - breaks some interactions
• MortaliB – all careers – extensive tuning errors may affect mod behaviour in-game

• Psylocke X (LaraRed) – Early Pregnancy Quirks – “buffs still appear if the pregnancy is cheated away”
• Scumbumbo – Set Filters on Paintings by Reference – Jan 27, CF/Scumbumbo website; NOTE: to solve the mod triggering a current game bug, the updated version of this mod [Jan 27] works only on paintings created with LMS’s new mod “Paint From (existing) Photo Reference”
• SimRealist – SNB Bills – not fully compatible with For Rent Residential Rentals
• sims4me (Bienchen) – Whim Overhaul complete download – LEs if you don't remove packs you don't own

• thepancake1 and MizoreYukii – Bed Cuddle – not compatible with Lovestruck
• TMar – Part-Time Delivery Driver Career – MacOSX folder needs to be deleted on installation

  • Occult Hybrid Unlocker & Stabilizer – with Fairy hybrids that have wings: to avoid crashing, switch back to human form before running any interactions that will switch occult forms OR remove wings from fairy hybrids
  • Teleport Memory System [TMS] – minor tuning issues that do not affect function according to creator

• Wyndkin – No Swipe Cooldown: Businesses and Hobbies version – does not work with Klepto trait if you have B&H; see Patreon for more info
• Zerbu
  • Organized Event Planning – not compatible with Life and Death
  • Simvestigations – not compatible with Better Exceptions
