Question about Modder: Kassastrophic Gaming

My question is whether anyone knows if Kassastrophic Gaming (formerly Peridot Sims)’s mods will be adopted by another modder or are considered obsolete. 

Their Shorter University Terms mod is very useful (they have a Longer University Terms variant as well). The 8 credit term is my go-to amount, since the vanilla version takes too long. There have been mods in the past that did this too, though they've stopped working or were abandoned.

I'm not a Patreon supporter and I’ve already tried contacting Kassastrophic Gaming through their tumblr (not sure if they’re still active there), so I’m not sure what to do now.
