I have this problem too. Had a 'science baby' with a houseguest. The baby does show as related to my alien, yet there are no interactions and the baby is marked as 'not related'.
I'm taking it as 'mod related' but what did you use to solve the problem?
...Given the imminent removal of the toddler I decided to boost the kid to child status, so he could feed himself and go to the toilet! However, the game is still trying to add baby traits. 'Sneezing' constantly pops up along with 'learn to crawl'. Any conversation involves the child popping through furniture to kneel, toddler-like on the floor. The child needed to 'greet' his mother like he'd never met her before! x)
See I have this issue too but the strange thing is it affects my male twins kid but not my female twin kid they live in the same house and everything it really pissing me off because when I looked on the genealogy it said the kid was family less and that her dad was childless and I even tried it with her mom and still nothing
@crinrict I have played one other infant before the last update and everything worked correctly. It was a female, this was the first infant male I have played. I am on PC and I do have mods installed. Unfortunately my game suffered a grey screen crash shortly after so I deleted the save.
The second one sounds more likely, traits and quirks being carried across to a child from early age up from forced CAS toddler age.
