any luck? im having the same issue i tried everything

    @lakenkenzi  Did you remove the Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, or a different folder?  It sounds like you might have moved the folder that contains the game's program files instead.  If you've actually installed Sims 4 into Documents > Electronic Arts, that's a separate problem.  Please check in the EA App: open your library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > View properties, then post the location you see.

    To be clear, this is NOT the folder to move.

    If this location is not in Documents, that's good, and please do move the folder that's in Documents > Electronic Arts to your desktop.  Yes, it will remove your custom content, but that's part of the point here.  Let me know whether you can play with this folder moved.  If not, please post a dxdiag.  Here's how to run one, same link as above:

    @lakenkenzi  Did you try the suggestion in post 2?  If yes, and it didn't help, please post a dxdiag, as requested.

    Please also describe your particular issue in detail.

    i did try that but it removed all of my packs and cc so i put it back but the same thing keeps happening. and also what is a dxdiag? sorry haha.

    basically i log onto it and whenever i click new game it just gets stuck on a fully white screen and i have to close it using task manager, i tried repairing it and also deleting no ea lashes mod because someone on tiktok said that was causing some issues but no luck ☹️

    i moved the folder and i can play it but it's removed like literally everything and its just base game. is this right??

    to be clear this is the one i did not move.

    wait because i just ran the game by clicking the ts4 from game>bin and its working with all the packs just not the cc...

    @lakenkenzi  Right, the Documents > sims 4 > The Sims 4 location contains the game's program files, and it should NOT be moved.  The Sims 4 folder inside Electronic Arts contains mods, saves, and other user data.  Removing that folder works because something inside it is broken, most likely your mods.  Please see this post for a list of mods known to break CAS after this patch:

    For anything not on either list, you'll need to test yourself.  Do so in batches, or use the 50/50 method:

    Once you've sorted through your Mods folder, you can move the contents of saves and Tray, plus Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those, to the new folder.  You'll probably want UserSetting.ini too for the login rewards.  The rest can be discarded.
