Re: CAS infinite loading screen after 23. 07. update

Hello,

I spent most of my night trying to find two Custom Contents that were blocking me from playing the game. I eventually got in. I did some stuff ii terms of Build Buy. But CAS is taking way too long to load. I only waited 15 minutes until I had to force stop the game on my PC. No one wants to wait 15 or more minutes to get into CAS. I mean, who wants to? I don't mind waiting long for my game to load when I get into it (Thanks to mods), but not CAS.

Not only that, but I also did get a Better Exception Warning too. But then I get a Better Exception UI warning that is still loading even now. I did fix all but one of the Better Exception issue. The one that I didn't fix, I am waiting for the Modder to update that.

Nonetheless, please make the loading screen going into CAS shorter, like it was before the updates.

The other issue that I have, has been going on a few times, and to me, it is an annoyance. It's two song going on at the same in the game. This happened as I was getting into CAS. I don't want to turn the music off, but it is annoying to hear two songs going on at the same time. This could be a bug of some kind.

Speaking of which, don't you have people testing games out for bugs to fix before you put them out into public? I know that isn't going to solve the issues of people complaining about it, but it will lessen the volume of it.

I've heard that the CAS taking too long to load was because of a mod. Well, I posted my issue to social media and one other Simmer mentioned that they took out all their mods and CAS was still taking too long to load. Otherwise, it's not a mod issue. It's an issue that is caused by the updates and the new pack.

I am also thinking that the mods that I had to delete thanks to Better Exceptions (and no, thanks to Better Exceptions not loading for the UI issue),  They could be the reason why CAS is loading so slow (I don't know). I'll try again in tomorrow. Nevertheless, please make the time it takes to load into CAS shorter.

Also, I heard that UI mods might be causing the CAS loading screen to be so slow. But since I have read from other Simmers, I don't think that is the case. One did mention that they took out all the mods only to find out that the loading screen to CAS is still too slow. The reason CAS is so slow has more to do with the resent updates and not a UI mod.

And I tried to delete Better Exceptions, but it keeps on coming back up when I load the game (It's still scanning when I get out of it). And I go into that folder to find out, through a file, that I cannot delete it.
