Re: Corrupted save files?

So my game isn't crashing but when I tried to have my household go from fair in Cottage Living to one of the festivals in Snowy Escape using the Calendar. When my household was "traveling" it instead took me to "Residential Worlds" and created a loop where I couldn't go back home or exit the trip. I tried getting help through advice on here and through the EA chat and tried multiple things:

1) I "repaired" through Origin

2) I uninstalled and downloaded both Sims and Origin, and restarted my Mac (I also updated my mac).

3) I moved my old EA folder to my desktop and tried moving different saves in to see if I can get my households back and that's not working. 

Even when I consider starting all over, the likes and saves in my gallery are also gone. I'd really appreciate any suggestions and help!
