@raeray2002 Please do this to make sure you've got the game wirking with no mods:
- Move (not copy) your Mods folder to your desktop or rename it. D
- elete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.
- If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up.
- Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. You'll also have a new Mods folder now.
If that works, do this next:
- Go to Broken/Updated Mods & CC and delete the broken mods from your old mods folder. Note that there's a "newly broken" list and a "previously broken" list
- Use the Updated lists there to find which mods have new versions to install. Delete the old version from your old folder and install the new one in the new folder. Don't skip checking installation instructions.
- Use the "Cleared" lists to find which mods that you have left can be copied over. Make sure you also have anything you use from the "Core" list
- Open the game to test.
Let me know if you still have a working game, now, with only cleared and updated content.

@raeray2002 Please try this, in this exact order:
- Make a new user folder: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/ Your previous content will be available to put back
- Do a Game Repair
- Launch the game
Does it work now? If not, are you on a PC or a Mac?
