I think that's just pretty standard lag. The pause is while it's loading the part of the catalog where the item you eyedroppered is from. 30 seconds is admittedly a bit long, but I suppose if you have a lot of CC and/or are building on an elaborate lot...?
I disagree. I don't have this bug 100% of the time - so it's pretty obvious when it is happening. I even get a little blue spinny wheel
@MadameNordica Is this an issue for you with an empty Mods folder?
I don't really use build cc - and bbb and tool are currently needing updates so I don't use them currently. I have mods in my mods folder, but none are build related.
MadameNordica If you have issues with an empty mods folder, you can post in Gameplay Questions and Issues. But test with no mods or CC at all, not just focusing on which ones should interfere.
