Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
Hello! I had the same issue for a while now, and it's the same when they drink coffee/tea. I started a new game and same thing happens. If someone has the solution please.

- @adrianacanet Just to be clear, when you started the new game, was it completely mod-free (and did you delete the localthumbcache folder before relaunching Sims)?

@crinrictYes I've tried as you said and the new game without mods didn't crush, then I started trying the mods and it was working fine. But then I enter ed in the old game and it crushes... I don't know what could be the problem...
- @adrianacanet Did you try the old save (backup) with no mods/cc ?
