@selena_lerma First, here's how to confirm that mods or CC are your problem:
- Drag your Mods folder to your desktop.
- Delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4
- If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up.
- Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem.
Here's what to do if you find out that mods or CC were your problem:
- Check Broken/Updated Mods to find out which mods have recent updates. Update them and put them in your folder.
- Use the "Core" etc. list there to make sure you have the most recent version of mods like ModGuard.
- Then, for the rest of your mods/CC, use these instructions to narrow down any other culprits: 50-50 Remember to delete the localthumbcache file from the new Mods folder any time you replace or remove a mod there.
- When you find a culprit, you can go to the creator's page to look for an update or just delete it.
