Hi Crin, Thank you for replying. I do not know what a CAS Demo is.
I do have the rest of the content. Just the world is not loading... HOWEVER.
My main pc is a Samsung Galaxy Book II. This is where the problem is.
Out of curiosity, tried to load San Sequoia on my older Desktop PC and Viola! What a cute little world it is! I enabled my mods.. and it still loaded fine. ( My daughter uses loads of mods in her Sims and does not have this issue.)
So, I consulted my husband/ tech guy/ software engineer because I thought this was rather curious... as does he. Perhaps.. it's possible that there is a mix of older code mixing with newer code causing the issue with newer PCs. Idk, he's out of town and will check when back.
Anyhoo, are others out there having the San Sequoia issue on newer PCs vs older ones?
For now, I will go onto my older pc to play in San Sequoia. 🙂

@kittycatm3w You might need to reinstall the pack
Easiest way to do this is to move the EP folder from your installation folder to the desktop and then open ea app again. This will prompt you to reinstall the pack.
The name of the folder is EP13 and can be found here: C:\Program FIles\EA Games\The Sims 4 (this is the default path and it may vary depending on your installation. Ask your Husband to help you with that if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself.
If that doesn't help, you might need to reinstall the whole game. Backup your user folder in Documents to be sure that nothing gets lost and then reinstall. If it does work, then you can delete the EP13 folder from your desktop. It's just as a backup.
Thanks Crin,
I purchased the Horse Ranch EP and encountered the same problem with Chestnut Ridge not opening so I finally bugged my husband about it. He followed the steps above and the pb wasn't resolved until I remembered about the MODS! We disabled the mods and Viola! Both San Sequoia and Chestnut Worlds were there. I didn't think that the mods were the problem because I play on an older Pc as well, with mods and the worlds are just fine.
DOES THIS MEAN I CANNOT USE COOL MODS ANYMORE?
Just for the sake of confirming, I enabled the mods and San Sequoia and Chestnut Ridge were gone. I disabled it and the worlds were back.
Thank you and if there are any tips that would allow some mods to be used, that would be wonderful. 🙂
Right now, I am happy to get into San Sequoia!
@kittycatm3w Most likely you have mods that need updating. Typically for this issue that's mods like All Worlds Are Residential or Home Regions, but there are likely to be others. Basically, check anything that affects the UI or Worlds for updates. You'll find a list here Broken/Updated Mods , which also links the post from September's udpate, but you may also need the Horse Ranch update list at the Forums: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/1009959/broken-updated-mods-cc-july-2023-horse-ranch-patch/p1
