Recoloring Stairs

I just figured out how to recolor and I'm wondering if I can recolor stairs. I assume they would be on build but I cant find them. As I said, I've just started learning a few days ago so can I not recolor stairs at all or do I need to go to something else in S4S?

    S4S does not have the capability to access stairs. You'll need to use TSRW for that (The Sims Resource Workshop).

    I'm not too familiar with that program and can only comfortable do a few things in it because it's not very "user-friendly" in my opinion. S4S is my program of choice.

    But there is a forum for TSRW that peo9le might be able to help you.
