relationship bar glitching after using relationship bit cheat

today i shift+clicked on a sim that my sim is in a romantic relationship with and added the good friends relationship bit. since then their relationship bar keeps glitching, sometimes it's completely empty. it also started doing this with every sim i interact with despite not having used a relationship bit cheat on them. i've tried removing the good friends relationship bit and restarting game and nothing changed. for additional context i use several mods.
