Removing werewolf aspiration reward trait

I've been scouring this sight for a way to remove the "Chomp Champion" trait. the usual "traits.remove_trait trait_{traitname}" just isn't working for some reason. I've tried multiple different spellings with underscore and without, as well as with capitalization and without. but nothing seems to work.
Doing that spelling worked for a non aspiration related reward trait however? Do i just need a different cheat to remove a completed aspiration and that will remove the trait as well?
