@Flying_Pig7 There are a few different ways to be able to organize and see what each file of CC is, some by preview and some not so much. I know of a couple ideas that may help you.
#1
Some CC creators give more specific file names for each cc item so it is easy to find to organize and/or delete. Some CC creators don't however which is why it can be helpful to rename CC files when you download and save them. Just make sure not to change or rename the extension...IE: do not change the extension .package. Also important to note even if you don't use mods, Mods and custom content are different and it can effect mods when you change names of mods, but not custom content. Just thought I'd note that if you have mods or ever plan to install them.
#2 This is probably my best suggestions for previews, deletion, to help you organize your Custom Content and has even more features. This is what I use to delete broken cc, cc I don't use anymore and to even delete swatches I don't like.
The Sims 4 Studio is a free versatile tool for The Sims 4 that can help you manage, create, delete and organize your custom content. It's fairly easy to learn and their site has help guides to help you get started, I learned myself personally by just screwing around on it. lol It actually lets you preview each item, you can delete custom content through the tool itself or it locates the file in your mods folder to delete as well. I suggest delete the file from your folder and not on the tool itself as if you delete it from the tool itself it is gone forever off your computer. Where as when you delete a file from your mods folder it at least goes to the recycling bin in case you need to restore it for any reason such as deleting it caused another CC or mod to break. You can also delete certain swatches (colors you don't like for specific CC items) using The Sims 4 Studio, create CC, merge and unmerge package files and tons more. It is probably the best CC tool I have come across for The Sims 4 and I highly recommend it for any Sims 4 CC fan. 🙂
Here is my step to step guide into doing what you are looking to do using The Sims 4 Studio (if you choose to go with this option)
#1 Download it here: http://sims4studio.com/thread/562/sims-studio-windows-wishes-open. or for mac: http://sims4studio.com/thread/6065/sims-studio-apple-blossom-open
#2 Follow on screen installation instructions (Save it where you want or their default recommendation etc)
#3 Once installed open it and create a unique creators name for yourself (this really doesn't matter rather you are using it for any reason)
#4 I forget but you may have to sync The Sims 4 Studio with your mods folder, but I don't think you do. You can only look at custom content on Sims 4 Studio if it is in your Sims 4 Mods folder.
#5 Click on My CC on the sims 4 studio main page
#6 a screen should appear blank with all your folders and files in your mods folder on the left side. Click on which files you want to view and it will load them.
If you need any further help or have more questions I'd be happy to try and further assist you. 🙂
