Shadow maps now hidden beneath skin details

Hello,
Since the July 1st patch, shadow maps from items in CAS (clothes, accessories, shoes, etc) now layer beneath skin details (freckles, dimples, moles, etc) if they have a composition method of 0. Basically, with any custom skins, all items in CAS look flat now.

The images on the left are of EA lingerie over default skin and a custom skin.
The images on the right are of the same lingerie with the diffuse removed, just the shadow map, so its easier to see the issue.

EA isn't responsible for the behaviour of mods in the game, but I'd suggest testing with only one custom skin file and nothing else, in a new save.
