Sim’s old mod (broken CC) is still visible in my game

So, I recently got back into sims 4. Before I started playing again, I ran into an incident in my game where I had updated With my mod folder still in, and struggled to even play. I deleted it of course and the mods as well, however as I got back into playing sims 4 i’m experiencing an issue. The broken CC is visible specially in my “Custom content” folder you can access in-game settings. But they are not present in my sims 4 package content, i’m starting to believe the Sims 4 Mod is still active somehow and somewhere on my device. The game is so incompatible, all my buttons and options are entirely glitched. I can turn the mods off and it works perfectly, but I don’t want to play without mods, especially due to the fact that aren’t even mods in my folder yet (to my knowledge) for me to have to remove them.
