sim not going to school

Question

hi! i've been trying to get my sim to go to school for a long time now, this is actually my first time back on the sims in a while and the same issue has occurred even from just two months ago. my sim refuses to go to school. she is home, but the game says that she's at school. when i press the 'go to school' button, a notification sign pops up that says something about skipping school. i have proof shown below. this also works with trying to get her mom to work. anything i should do?

@ringsblade  What happens if you press yes, nothing ? Any mods/cc in your game ?Have you tried moving them out and back in ?

@crinrict&nbsp;hi crinrict! even if I press yes the sim won't go to school/work. the same thing goes for no. i do have multiple mods and cc in my game and i recently reinstalled the sims 4 and put the mods back in. the problem still occurs, plus i have deleted some career-related mods because that's when the problem started to occur but nothing seems to work. i've also reparied the game more than 3 times, still didn't work. i should probably take a couple of mods out of the folder and launch the game and see if it works fine without the mods.&nbsp;

@ringsblade  Test without any mods/cc on a backup of your save to see if it's still happening. This will tell you if it's a mod issue or not. If it goes away this way, you'll need to find the mod/cc that's causing it.
