Sim wont do any actions

My sims won’t do what I tell them to. For example i want them to change the toddlers diaper - the sim cancels the action before even moving.

It has happened before just with food where it worked by moving the household. It just doesn’t seem to work this time

I dont know what to do. I tried moving my mods, tried reparing the game, tried deleting the “the sims 4” folder, tried deleting origin cache files, tried to move the household to a new lot etc.

The only thing that seems to work is to create a whole new household. I just really dont want to start all over - also I am scared that it will just happen again.

Any suggestions?
