Curious, is this happening on the new town from Cottage Living, and if so, is it the lot directly in the middle, think its called "Olde Mill Hill"?
Never had an issue with the Reaper until CL, worked fine, could talk to him etc, and he still works fine on other lots, or if I do a new game at Olde Mill Hill, but after the first chicken or rabbit dies, the issue starts to happen on that specific lot, doesn't happen on others, can still talk to him and send him away without an issue but I don't have livestock on the other lots. So I do think they "broke" him a bit with CL, and the patches haven't helped. But hell I still have that bug where the butler can't fix some of the upgraded electronics, like the vacuums, they just sit there and keep trying until I just select replace.
I'm 70% sure if Maxis removed the reaper from collecting livestock and people started a new game after they did, a lot of the reaper bugs would be gone.
Not sure if MCC has an option that may fix the issue, MCC has too many damn options so it takes an hour to just go through them all, but I swore I didn't see any that fix this specific issue, but even if it did, if the issue is on consoles as well, MCC wouldn't be of any help to them.
@devianza97 Since you mention checking settings on a Mod I'm wondering if you have any Mods &/or CC in your game? If you do, please test with the Mods/CC and cache file removed as follows:
Move the Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring.
