Sims 4 Bills will not go through.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.103.315.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to pay bills
What happens when the bug occurs? I try to get my sim to pay bills on the mailbox, phone, etc... but it doesn't go through. My simoleons stay the same and nothing is deducted. The sim will do the animation of paying the bill but then nothing happens.
What do you expect to see? The bills are being paid, and the money is reduced. The lights turn back on.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

They do the animation it looks normal I just don't see the money being reduced.

    @Lilithacshworth If it happens only on Residential Rental lots, that could be Simrealist R|E, which isn't updated for For Rent lots. If it happens with NO mods, please head to Bug Reports.

    This is my problem too! I went on vacation with one of my sims and when I was there the bills came. And now the game won’t let me pay the bills. The bills notification pop up but I don’t have the option to pay them. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game - didn’t help.

    This just started happening to me yesterday. Tried everything suggested in the thread and other threads I found. Nothing seems to work! ;-;

    @Karibouboo Please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
