@blackcat991 Have you tried recovering the oldest backup available? If you've continually saved with your cc missing, even the oldest backup might be affected, but it's worth trying.
If that doesn't help, then yes, you'll need to reapply all the custom content.
@blackcat991 It sounds like you saved once with you custom content disabled, which would permanently remove the cc from your sims. Try recovering a backup save from before the items were removed.

I have found the game will not read saves with version numbers (0-4). The saves without the number version will be recognized, but one save will not add the CC back. I have found the other saves do have the cc in place. Which is great. Thanks for your help.
