sims 4 dog is all distorted after clicking "friendly introduction"

I would put a photo of what my dog looked like but it scared me so much that I just saved and closed the game as soon as I saw it. So I wanted to introduce the dog to a sim and then the dog was suddenly standing on two legs, her body was vertical, her back was arched forwards and her head was kind of inside of her body. It freaked me out so much I've seen weird glitches on sims but that one really traumatized me. Just describing it is giving me shivers. I obviously don't wanna stop playing the game cause I love it too much but I'm scared to open it again and see that distorted dog. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Please help ☹️

    @evangie are you using a mod that allows you to control your pet like a normal household sim? The interactions that appear are sometimes not native to the pet frames and they get warped into a human upright action.

    I've found that limiting pet interactions to the ones that get other Sims to "Initiate" actions with the pet work better.

    @Caerfinon Ohhh that may be why. Because the "friendly introduction" was from the pet and not the sim. Makes sense now thank you so much I was so confused and borderline creeped out to randomly see the dog standing on two legs.

    I wonder if there's a way I can delete that mod, to be honest I started playing about two months ago so I'm figuring a lot of stuff out on the go.

    @evangie You can just delete that mod's files from the Mods folder and then delete the file in Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 called localthumbcache. There shouldn't be an issue in game afterward.
