Sims 4 game crashes when I press the gallery button.

My sims 4 game periodically crashes when I press the gallery button in CAS. I never know when its about to crash which is extremally frustrating. When I went into cas I was able to open the gallery twice with no issues, the third time I opened it it crashed the whole game. This problem happened a second time when I restarted and pressed the randomize sim from gallery button, the game exited and went straight to my computer homescreen, What could I do to fix this, I have already repaired the game?
