Sims 4 Lovestruck unplayable

Lovestruck is unplayable. It downloads fine, everything appears but nothing is usable.

I cannot access the world, it shows a white screen with my sim on the bottom like usual, but nothing to select after selecting the world. (Shown in the photo)

In the phone, the app appears, as well as on the computer, but once clicked, nothing happens. It appears to be in the list of activities to do but once it gets there, it disappears and nothing happens.

I have read through other posts and tried learning EA cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the EP, as well as a new save.
