Sims 4 no whims showing up after november 2018 patch

I checked my Settings but it's grayed out and i can't open it. So there's no way to turn on my whims. Who would i talk to about that?

do you have a save game loaded ? Is the whim option grey or the gameplay options ?

It is a saved game, and the Gameplay Button in the Game Options is grayed out so i can't click it. I wanted to restore my Sims Whims since it's been disabled but now i can't. Also, i'm not sure if this is relevant, the buttons for Seasons and Get Famous are also grayed out as well.

Try loading your household and go to the options from there.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure. My game won’t show any aspirations for my sim so I can get satisfaction rewards
What happens when the bug occurs? I can’t see an icons for aspirations so I can get my satisfaction rewards
What do you expect to see? A little icon showing me wants so I can get satisfactions points
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

Please describe the patch or change you made. There was an automatic update and then when I logged on they didn’t appear

• It doesn’t matter what family or map I use there is not aspiration icons appearing so I can do the actions to  earn satisfaction points

 I know this post is from forever ago but I also have this issue that has not been resolved by deleting old cache files, moving household, restarting the game, loading without CC, etc.

There are far newer threads on it. Whims are now turned of by default. You can turn them on in game options.
