Sims 4 transfer funds between households and businesses is broken

Hello! I've been playing with the For Rent Expansion Pack and when I wanted to transfer funds to my business my game broke, I had to forcefully shut it down and restarted the game. Then I wanted to move in a townie to my household and when the it was time for the transition of funds my game broke again ☹️( is this happening to anyone else? It's a first for me!
