Sims 4 way to slow or pause toddler skill growth

Hey I was just wondering if anyone knows a way to slow or pause toddler skill growth. Just with the play style I use I find toddlers max out their skills way too fast for me.I thought I could use MC to make them progress slower, but toddler skills don't appear as an option to change. Does anyone know of any mods that would work here? I'm also happy to use a mod that just pauses a certain sims skill growth. But I can't find anything that does this.
