sims avatars not showing up on Mac

hi! I currently use the M2 chipped MacBook Air that runs on MacOS Ventura 13.2.1, I have a problem with my game, my sims just won't show up on CAS! whenever I try to create a sim, or try to get a sim from the gallery, it just doesn't work. any ideas why?

    @zeuskayra IIRC that used to be an issue caused my mods/cc. Could you test if you have the same issue if you test on a fresh save with no mods/cc ?

    i have cc, it seems that female sims show up, but males do not do you know why?
