Sims Game Not Saving

After downloading the Sims 4 Horse Ranch pack, I was able to save my game no problem, even when there was the stayover guests (relevant). However, when I had my sim invite her boyfriend to stay the night and then hit save, the saving screen would show up but then just pinwheel in perpetuum. I had to force exit the game. When I started it back up again, I was able to save like normal and just didn't invite the boyfriend over that time but had him over on a different day, so I again tried to have her boyfriend stay the night. Again, a perpetual pinwheel. So this time, I started up the game again, a few days later (cause I got busy and couldn't try again), and this time I did not invite the boyfriend to stay the night, thinking that was the problem. Well, it happened to be Winterfest, and so Clement Frost was there. When I sent my sims to bed, and then tried to save like I usually do, you guessed it, perpetual pinwheel. Today's playthough had other bugs too, but they were far less annoying than being unable to save! I've got a bunch of CC but no mods, and every pack except like three of the game packs and a few of the kits. This is the first time I've had issues like this! Help!!
