Sims mods disappear and reappear when game starts

Hi,

I have had issues with my mods for a long time now. I wanted to try the 50/50 idea today, so I moved my mod's folder to my desktop. Just to check if it worked I started the game, and the issue was still happening. So I checked my Sims folder and saw that my mods folder was still there, even though I had just moved it there. I shut the game off, moved the folder again, and opened Sims again, but it was still acting weird.

I recently did download sims 4 mods manager, so maybe it has something to do with that?
