sims taking over 30mins to load

@echoesofsilencex  How long does the game take to load if you have no mods or custom content present at all?  Please move the Mods folder to the desktop and test, and let me know.

Please also let me know whether it helps to suppress the pop-up you see at the Main Menu that displays your mods and cc.  I've heard it helps a lot in some cases, not so much in others.

Finally, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I have tried without mods, it takes about 5 mins max to load to main menu and seconds for everything else, I have just cleared my mods folder of anything I don't use.

with mods, the popup listing my mods also comes up 10/10 times, no matter how long it takes to load

ive also noticed ive put this under pc when im on Mac...I didn't see that, so I will just do diagnostics later today, im gonna try and load up sims again and see how long it takes

another note: better exceptions and mccc have been giving me last exceptions, but telling me the issue is stuff that I can't seem to find in mods, or my sims 4 game folder. if needed I can attach the last exceptions given by both if needed 

EDIT: I timed how long it takes with mods and without mods, I have cleared out so the times weren't as long 

loading with mods: 12mins

without mods: 3mins

@echoesofsilencex  Having a lot of mods and cc items is going to increase load times, but again, disabling the pop-up that lists your mods and cc at the Main Menu can help.  For the lastexceptions, please post a couple of screenshots of the errors and I'll show you how to look for the mods being mentioned.

You can't run a dxdiag on a Mac, but it might be helpful to know the full specs of your Mac instead.  Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner, choose About This Mac, and post everything you see except for the serial number.  Then click the Storage tab and let me know how much free and total storage your computer has.
