Sims won’t put toddler in high chair

Question

For a while now, I have been having trouble getting my sims to or their kid into a high chair to feed him. Nothing is blocking the high chair and I have moved it around to many places and have tried using both sims to do it. The only result I get is the action being X’d out the sims just putting the toddler down. I’m not sure what to do cause I’m afraid that the game will do that thing where it threatens to take the kid away lol. This is really annoying

@kiki13450 Have you tried if it's related to a specific household or happens in all of them ? Does it work in a new save ?Are you using custom content or mods in your game ?

@kiki13450 if you try to feed your toddler food from your inventory do they eat or drink from the floor or somewhere else? Can you check if other sims also try to interact in a different way with the toddler? In some cases it is due to very simple other interactions.
