I'm having this same issue. I can't change my sims skin color or hair color in cas mode.

I have uninstalled, repaired the game on origin and it didn't change anything so still not working it's actually a little frustrating.

    @Tiyeara1995 Are you using mods/cc ? Have you tried the suggestion above ?

    Sounds like an outdated mod issue
