Skin works in CAS but not in live mode - possible?

Question

is it normal as in can it happen that a skintone/overlay works in CAS but not in live mode?
Cause I seem to be having this issue.
I finally updated the game and mods too and everything seems to be fine but the live mode skintone/texture is scary.

Have you tried deleting the skin and re-downloading it?

Ah never mind, I just needed to tick the uncompressed sims or whatever box.I just updated the game and removed my things for back up and forgot to put the options file back again.
