Slice Of Life

This is likely a question for the creator of this mod, but I know when I read the notes on her page that it's stated you can remove a certain module from the game if you don't wish to have the event occur. Now, I'm fine with that module, but I'm discovering a very distressing situation in my game. I had to exit without saving. Found this file inside one of the modules. I would like to remove just this file, and I'm wondering will it break the mod, or break that module? The module is Drama. I don't in any way, shape or form, want my Sims to be subject to autonomous hook-ups. I was able to remove another equally offensive module without the game going wonky. But it was the entire module I removed. If this is also the module responsible for my Sims' becoming dazed from too much juice, and vitamins, for lack of another term. Then I will dispense with the entire module, too. My Singer can't sing while looped. He sounds dreadful. I'm not entirely ready for my young Global Superstar to crash and burn. He's just now a YA and in just a few more Sim days I will be sending all four siblings to uni. The last time I sent this group to uni, the experience was marred by another new mod I was experimenting with. I would surely hate to repeat another failure in my game due to a mod I'm quite enjoying, otherwise.

If anyone knows about this mod, or can direct me to the creator's site where I can ask her directly, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Please, and thank you, in advance.

  • I tried this mod, but I kept deleting modules until there was nothing left. Menstruation? Absolutely NOT! Acne got annoying in a hurry. The last thing TS4 needs is MORE random social spam calls. There was always at least one household member sick at all times. A couple were redundant or conflicting with other mods. Eventually it had been pruned back to the point where, what does what's left even do?

Good news! Mods are completely optional and you don't have to use them!

Honestly, I am about where you are with it. I love the mod. I love the idea of the mod and I keep it on my laptop but I play challenges and legacies on my PC most of the time and on there it got somewhat old. I'm following the mod anyway because I'd love to see what the creator does it with in the future. It's got a lot of exciting features that I think should be within the actual game but they just need tweaking to find balance. But it's a great mod to show how in depth mods can be.
  • I don't play with the menstruation/period bloody week of her mod, it works perfectly and my game works well without.

I absolutely love this mod! CK213 told me about this one and as soon as I played it, I loved it. Now I can't do without it, lol. The only module that I deleted was the one where one drink of "nectar" would make you tipsy and a second would make your sim falling down drunk...I would love that she would tweak this one to make it where it takes more than one drink to feel tipsey. Otherwise, I am enjoying all the things that make real life annoying, lol. :D

Does anyone have the download link for the slice of life mod? All the different websites and stuff makes me confused, and I dont' wanna risk downloading the wrong one or something

I would suggest downloading Mods directly from the creator, in this case it's KawaiiStacie:
https://kawaiistacie.tumblr.com/ She also provides a Discord link for questions about the Mod and there is a section for update information.

Thank you so much  I've been asking so many places for this link now, thought I would never get it

I think you will enjoy this mod. I know I do. But, if there's a portion of it you don't like, you can just remove it. I took out the Autonomous Hook-ups because it made my Sim behave very, very badly, in a manner unlike his true nature. And right in front of his mother and wife, too. It was just wrong. But, it's removable and the mod runs fine without it. :)

i was experimenting with my legacy but forgot i had the mod installed now one of my sims has 2 baby daddies. but i think that has to do with the juice she drank that night. i was shocked its not like her. but since her first love dies before the story starts i guess theres still stuff to learn. i might have told the story before. but i recently started doing the experiment i read about where you just let the game run. the second experiment was worse but not slice of life related.

Most likely it had to do with the autonomous random hookups portion.
