Small Business Glitch

When placing items on the stands and display tables to sell items in a small business venture, regardless of whether the for-sale items are modded or not, the game freezes when I try to save. I could literally load up the game right now, put 1 bowl of fruit on a display table to sell, try to save the game, and the game will sit there for 20+ minutes trying to save. Doesn't matter what item is put on the table, it keeps happening. I've lost hours of build mode progress because I went to click save and all it did was spin its wheels. It took trial and error to even figure out what caused it the first time. I've checked it periodically for weeks, and it's still an issue. The game doesn't crash. the music keeps playing. But the game just sits there, forever spinning its saving wheel.
