Solved? - Some Strangervillle lots crash my game after the update.

Edit - I feel a little silly for not thinking about this. Apparently I still had G-shade installed. After I deleted G-shade from my game It worked again. So if you happen to use G-Shade or ReShade and have the same issue. Maybe uninstall that and see if it fixes it.

I have not seen this mentioned yet. I have managed to fix my game and my save files are okay too.
I just wanted to start the Occult legacy. With that one you start in Strangerville.

Long story short, if I try and load (even without mods and cc) one of the Strangerville Plaza lots in Strangerville it closes/crashes my game. This is in build mode or with a family. Even traveling to one of the lots crashes the game.

I can not find the reason as to why this happens. And I wonder if anyone else has trouble opening these lots as well.

Also, after the game crashes, the EA App gives me the notification ' Failed to launch game
An error on our end caused the launch to fail. try again a little later'.
This notification does not happen when I launch the game, but when it crashes. The game launches fine.

Added the latest crash files below along with a screenshot of the lots that cause the crashes.

Hi, I deleted most of the post. Thank you for offering help!!

I have dug a little deeper in my files and realized G-shade was still installed and probably outdated. After the update it might have screwed something up. After uninstalling that from my game I can load the lots again.

AnjaEnAmber Would you be willing to share the save too? If so, please upload it to a third-party site and either post the link here or send it to me via PM. I would like to pass it along to anyone investigating on the EA side, if you're comfortable, but I wouldn't share it elsewhere.

Hi! I'm also having this issue. Did you ever redownload gshade and see if it still does it after updating? My ghshade is up to date, but won't stop crashing if it's not one of the lots on the hill of Strangerville.

jadeisbored Nothing about Gshade should affect lot loading at all. Please try this test:

Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop and rename it.

Run a Game Repair in the EA App. (If you use Steam, the equivalent is Verify Integrity.)

Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save. Reset your Options.

Start with New to test if your issue recurs in a new game.
