Some sims are not able to use stairs? Sims 4 PC
Hello!
I am at a loss! I purchased and downloaded "Growing Together" on release. I decided to have my sims try for baby and they are having twins. I want to stay in my current house but needed to add on to the second floor to accommodate the family. When my build was done, only my child sim could use the stairs. The teenager and adults can not. I've tried:
- The invisible fence removal
- Moving every wall & piece of furniture/lights/decorations near the stairs
- Increasing the height of the platform
- Messing around with the roof
- Deleting the whole room and rebuilding from scratch
- Removing cc and mods.
Any ideas? I uploaded the lot to the gallery if someone wants to take a crack at what I did wrong (under "MB Mansion"). I just want to explore the new expansion but it's not fun when you're teleporting your sims every time they need to sleep.
P.S.
I know the configuration is strange. I originally had walls that went around the stairs and made an enclosed u-shaped room. I took the walls down to make a square shaped room and open the space up and that did not fix the stair issues. I also know the fencing around the stairs is not a problem because stair usage was still not possible with or without it there.
It's the ceiling above the stairwell, it's too low. If you remove it your Sim will be able to go upstairs:
