Stuck a ghost
My medium sim invited over other playable sims and performed the ghastly ritual. They all turned into ghosts....while the medium changed back, the others didn't. Tried debug and CAS but no go. Are they stuck permanently???

I don't usually use mods but if it is the the last resort, I'm willing to try it.
I have also had this issue.
The first time I did this, the sim turned back before he left, but I did it with Lily Feng, and she left before becoming a normal sim again, and now she is stuck as a ghost. MCCC does not have an option (that I can find) to remove the ghost flag. I have tried to use cheats, but all ghost flag cheats are played sim centric.
I have tried editing Lily in CAS and saving her, still a ghost. She was pregnant when she turned and now the pregnancy is gone with no kids. Basically she just... died? IDK. I would really like to fix this some how. She and my sim were best friends and now it just feels awkward for my sim to get spooked every time she visits, and spending 8000 satisfaction points on "Brave" just to talk to one sim feels stupid.
As I wrote earlier MCCC does have this option. when you manage traits just search for trait_ghost_seancetable or just ghost then pick the correct one. Remember to save first so you can load the game if you should make a mistake.
- @DreyAssasin I actually managed to turn my sims back to normal by a weird series of actions and I'm not sure which thing did the trick so I would recommend the whole thing.
1st have your medium Sim visit the ghost Sim. Do a seance circle at their house. Interact with them. Go back home. Invite the ghost Sim over (although at this point they should appear normal in you friend list). When they come over they should be back to normal. Seems bizarrely random but it worked with all three of my ghost Sims. This cheat works:
Traits.Remove_Trait Trait_Ghost_SeanceTable
