I wanted you to test the original unchanged lot to see if you have the same X-Ray issue there too in case it has something to do with your minor changes.
I tested this in my save and my Sim was able to calibrate it fine (tried both of them)
As or the computer repair issue, that is a known issue that wasn't fixed. It's better if you post about that in the thread I linked you above. Bug forum needs to be about one thread per issue.
Got it. I'll try to get on it right away. Please tell me how you added the picture of the sim using the x-ray machine? That looks like a real useful tool to use in my future questions or bug reports. I finally got to the point within the doctor's career, where I can use the x-ray machine. I was able to calibrate the machine. I did not use any cheats. The hospital was exactly the way it was originally programmed. So, I believe that I have stumbled upon a new bug for this issue, and it is connected to using the cheat, bb.enablefreebuild... Now, I also remember seeing an update that allows the players to use this, without having any issues, mostly with achievements. But who knows,? It's affecting the job performance of the sims, and it could affect more than I have found. I was still seeing my sim standing there not executing the command in the lower left corner. But this was everywhere, even at the home lot. So, who knows if it is connected to the doctor's career or not? Do you want me to test for anything else?
I hope that they fix this, maybe even remove the need for using the bb.enablefreebuild cheat, so I can just modify the lot without messing with cheats. Just unlocking the lot would probably make the game run smoother, that is my unprofessional opinion. It seems to be an unnecessary rule, that is there to frustrate the player. But that's just me.

Another update.
In my previous play through, I used the bb.enablefreebuild cheat and saved the lot. I went back to work the next day. Saved the current hospital lot, then used the bb.enablefreebuild cheat, placed the lot. I was able to calibrate the x-ray machine before and after using the bb.enablefreebuild cheat. So, I can only assume? This game is so highly unstable, and possibly the Xbox Series X is no better. Because no matter what I do, this games programming is un-uniformed, erratic, unstable, and filled with numerous unnecessary rules that clog the already over tasked Xbox. But I also have this game on the PC and my Playstation 4, and all of these bugs can be found. On Tuesday at 3pm, this game runs amuck, at 315pm, everything might be okay. But don't count on it. I believe that I have tried to look at every possible senerio? I'm probably, going to have to accept that this game will never be fixed, I will just have to enjoy the DLCs that I have, and not be able to purchase anything else. Because? The more DLCs I get, the more unstable this game gets. A sad customer, because really like the game. I hope that I am wrong. But only time will tell. I'll keep an eye on the reviews.
