Hi! The horses in my The sims 4 Horse ranch are dissapearing and not functioning. If I create a horse in CAS it dissapears from the household after moving to a lot. The same if I move in a lot first and then edit the household. I also cant buy or rescue a horse from the equestrian centre - there is no pop up window to do anything and my sim is only staying there. Tried to restart, repair, uninstal…

Try disabling any mods you have, some of them might not be compatible.

I don't use mods right now, still waiting for several to update. All the families included with HR don't have horses or other animals, and I don't see any NPC's with horses riding around. I try to create horses in CAS, I can customize everything, but I can't give them traits, and the family won't save unless I give the horse traits. Yes, I've cleared all the cache files, deleted the Sims4 folder, and done a Repair scan on the EA app. Nothing worked, still no horses.

I have exactly the same problem. I did remove all mods and cc and the issues still persists. It's the horses themselves.

I would also like to add that whenever my sim tries to purchase a horse, the sim cancels the action and resets?? I've tried to get a horse with CAS, using the horse bed, the community board, and even trying to spawn in a horse with cheats. STILL NO HORSES! When I go to another household that already has a horse, the horse disappears once the game loads. This is so upsetting.

Updating the traits mod, worked for me 🙂 Also deleted cache, cachewebkit, localthumbcache.package and avatarcache.package files from the game file folder. All working now as it's supposed to work![edited to remove the link to the mod]

@toreshinbo Are you using the more traits mod usually ? Are you still having issues with this ?

@NorahQ What about you ? Are you using mods/cc at all ? Are you still having issues ?

For everyone else that clicked me too: Does anyone on console or on an always vanilla game have this issue ?

Or just update the More Traits mod, after I did it was working and horses were back.

Hi @Anyxx13 . This has typically been because of outdated mods, but many of those have been updated. Test without mods, then go find if the ones you have have updates. This list is a starting point - Broken/Updated Mods - but you may need to go back to the July list.

Awesome! I've edited out the link to the mod, but I do want to note that multiple mods were causing this.
