The sims are staring at my sims outside

Hi, my sims are all celebrities, so I set to Private Dwelling on my home lot. Not many times but I have a few sims are staring at my sims outside of my house. Not sure it's a bug or not,...

    @aodoherty I would assume that the private lot trait would only keep the sims off the lot, but sims staring at a celebrity sim from the street or sidewalk would be normal, to my memory of playing sims with any celebrity status, especially as it raises.If you don't have a locked gate having the private dwelling trait still doesn't stop the driven and sometimes odd/obsessed paparazzi and 'normal' sims from entering the property, if memory serves. Not 100% of the time, though (thus the caveat "all but the most determined visitors" in the description of the lot trait). I used to notice years ago, before Get Famous, that I would see sims standing on the sidewalk staring at and in 'awe of' the home when I played a well-off family on 'The Old Salt House' lot in San Myshuno.

    I would guess that if your famous sim is standing in the front yard painting, having another sim that is standing on the sidewalk gawking at them is about as private as they can hope for. 😉

Thank you. Yes my sims are all global superstars. As I set the lot trait to Private Dwelling, there are not paparazzis around the house, and I like this. Not one hundred percent sure but it was hard to find the sims walking around on sidewalk with this lot trait, and my vampire celebrity sim had to move to other lot for plasma hunting almost every night when the get famous was firstly released. He was living at seaside in Windenburg or near the fountain on the middle of a big pond in New Crest. It used to be very quiet at night time. So my sims moved to San Myshuno to get the targets for hunting. Anyway, they have been celebrities so long time, my sims don’t care about those staring sims any more. It’s just me caring. :D
