[main menu UI broken] This happened after I try to open my game after the update

I have done the hot-fix update that they launched today march 18. My game started normally, my cc loading-screen showed up but then my screen turned all black and i had to close my game over task-manager. I tried a several times but it repeated the whole time.  An other buck?

Just to confirm: I have removed anything in my mod folder that is NOT a package file (script, etc).  Loading screen comes on - looks normal and then just black.  It wont even close down.  I have to go into ctr alt d to get it to close.

The problem isn't resolved. Now I have a black screen after the first loading (the music continue in background)...

This patch fix did nothing for me. I get past the title screen, but then my screen goes black. I’ve taken out my mods and the game crashes. I’ve now repaired my game for the third or fourth time and it did nothing. The game doesn’t even generate a last exception so I can see what the problem is. EA obviously doesn’t test these updates before releasing them. Otherwise, this would’ve been caught. 

I dont have better build buy.  I wish it was that easy lol

If you have the Better Build Buy mod, it's most likely that mod. I know I had a black screen because of that single mod, sucks because I love that mod. If not, it is most likely a gameplay mod, not cc if you needed to do a 50/50

Confirmed on why the Main menu goes black from Weerbesu.

Hi! I'm working on an update right now. Note that there is currently a base game issue that causes many mods, including this one, to not load. EA is fixing it soon, and I'll update this mod after that. For anyone who's updated their game, make sure you've removed this mod from your mods folder and wait for an update. The old version of this mod will cause a black main menu screen if left in once EA fixes mods not loading.
