Don't put anything back until you're sure it's either safe with the patch or updated (in which case you put in the updated version)
I have the exact same problem since my game needed to be updated today. My toddler wont do anything for longer than a second. He will start tasks and finish them as soon as he started them, therefore never filling any bars. Doesnt matter if I make him do things or if its interactions with other sims, like giving the toddler a bath. All other sims work fine.
I dont use any mods tho. No custom content either. Just the base game and seasons expansion pack, as is.
Any ideas?
