I am unable to place a residential rental from the gallery. It says they can not be placed. It has to be listed as residential only before I am able to place them. Unfortunately I do not know how to change an existing listing. How or what am I doing wrong that I can not place a residential rental property from the gallery?
I have tried that. There is no option to change it. If it is set on res rental, I can't change it to rental, if it is set on rental I can not change it to res rental. The option does not show up.
@kxvwgy3uw5it Is this the case in all worlds? Some worlds don't support Residential Rental.

@kxvwgy3uw5it Do Sims live on that lot? If so, try moving them out first.
No, Sims do not live on the lot. I think it is just a huge mess and Sims has a lot of bugs in this pack. I hope they fix them soon. It makes it not enjoyable at all to play.
I am very disappointed in it, to be honest.
@kxvwgy3uw5it Can you test in a clean folder on a new save, please? Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Then start at New and see if you can place a Gallery rental. Look for a rental that's not enormously complicated.
Do you own the rent pack? If not that you won't be able to change lot type for rental anyways. Lot for rental type only comes with Rent Pack. So any build you see in gallery that is set as rental is off blank option download button for those who do not own pack. Good news tho, you can save it to library for when ypu own the pack🤔 which with all the bugs might be never for me🤭
