months ago and after and update, i had the very same issue. I repaired the game as they told me and before that, moved the mod folder to the desktop and worked for me. Anyway i reinstalled the sims again on my new pc two days ago and now i'm exeriencing a new issue, without any mod on it yet, which has to do with the animations and interaction between sims. Basically they dont do anything, you can see the action on the queue but they just don moveand even when i click on them, there's some kind of delay... so idk what's going on but hope my comment helps
